十二、比賽規則：採用國際定向越野總會公佈沿徑定向比賽規則，使用Chinahealth電子打卡計時系統和傳統打卡器並用。

12. Rules : IOF TrailO Rules apply to this competition. There shall use the Chinahealth Punching & Timing System and traditional punch.

十三、賽程資料：

13. Course information :

(一)各組別的檢查點數目、距離、攀高和限時將於3號公告刊登。

(1) All courses the number of controls, distance, climb and time limit will be published on Bulletin 3.

(二)菁英組(E)、高級公開組(A)在精確賽有Zero(Z)答案。

(2) Elite(E), Advanced Open(A) classes have Zero(Z) answer in PreO course.

(三)菁英組(E)、高級公開組(A) 及初級公開組(B)在精確賽之計時檢查點不設Zero(Z)答案。

(3) Elite(E), Advanced Open(A) and Basic Open(B) do not have Zero(Z) answer in Timed Controls of PreO course.

(四)精確賽各組別若超時未回，不滿5分鐘以5分鐘計算，每5分鐘扣1分。

(4) In PreO course, one point shall be deducted for overtime of every five minutes or part thereof.

(五)速決賽所有組別皆有Zero(Z)答案。

(5) All classes have Zero(Z) answer in TempO course.

十四、比賽模式：

14. Mode of competition :

(一)精確賽 (PreO)：選手在每個檢查點觀察一至五個標誌旗，根據地圖指示，決定哪一個 (於觀測點觀察，最左手面為A，至最右手面為E。標誌旗的位置如有與地圖描述相符者，即為答案；如無相符者，答案則為Zero (適用於E及A組別) 。回答方式是以打孔器在答題紙上打孔，作答後不得修改答案 (回答多於一個選項者或漏答，該題回答作廢)。

計時檢查點 (適用於E, A及B組別)有6個標誌旗， 選手須於指定位置坐下看圖，並在盡量短的時間回答問題 (選手須指著答題版上的英文字母作答)。計時檢查點的成績計算方法為作答的耗時加答錯(每題)的懲罰加時。

選手每答對一題得一分 (不計算計時檢查點)。分數相同者，名次以計時檢查點成績決定先後。

(1)Presision Orienteering (PreO)

The competitor observes one to five control flags, coded A to E from left to right as observed at the Decision Point. The correct answer is the one that matches the map description (or Zero when none fits the description). The answer is made by punching the answer sheet (you cannot change your answer; multiple answers to the same question will invalidate your answer).

Timed Control (for E, A and B classes) have 6 flags, the competitor sits and answers the question(s) in the shortest time possible (Response is made by pointing at the alphabet board). The result to the Timed Control is the time used for answering the question(s) plus the penalty time for each wrong answer.

Each correct answer is worth one point (excluding the Timed Control). When two or more competitors have the equal number of points, they are ranked by the Timed Control result.

(二) 速決賽(TempO)：速決賽與一般傳統定向格式不同。選手需要坐在指定位置觀察6個標誌旗，根據地圖指示，決定哪一個(最左手面為A，至最右手面為F)標誌旗的位置與地圖描述相符。答案亦有機會為Zero(即所有標誌旗位置皆錯誤)，每個計時站進行2-4題(每個組別不同) 。成績計算方法為作答的耗時加答錯(每題)的懲罰加時，總耗時最短者勝。

(2) TempO

TempO different from traditional orienteering format. The competitor must sits in a specific position and observes 6 flags. According to map instructions, decide a flag (coded A to F from left to right) as an answer matching the map description. The answer may be Zero (that is all flags wrong). There are 2-4 queations (every classes may be different) in each Station. The result to the TempO is the time used for answering the question(s) plus the penalty time for each wrong answer. Taking the lowest total time is the winner.

十五、獎勵：各組取前三名頒發獎盃，前六名頒發獎狀，以資鼓勵。

15. Prizes : There will present trophy to the best 3 and certificate of merit to the best 6 of each class.

十六、懲罰：

16. Punishment

(一)參賽選手如有資格不符或冒名頂替，經查屬實者，取消其比賽資格及所有比賽成績。

(1) If a competitor does not meet the qualifications or impose an impostor, after verification, the competitor will be disqualified from the competition and all competition results.

(二)參賽選手如不服從裁判或行為不檢，經裁判長判決得取消其參賽資格。

(2) If a competitor does not obey the referee or misbehave, he may be disqualified after being judged by the referee

十七、申訴：

17. Appeal:

(一)填具申訴說明書，述明申訴人姓名，以書面方式向審判委員提出，並需附繳納保證金新台幣貳仟元整。申訴以審判委員會判決為最終判決，經審判委員會判決申訴無理者，得沒收其保證金。所有的申訴，應於比賽成績正式公佈後三十分鐘內以書面方式向競賽組提出。

(1) Fill out an appeal statement with the name of the complainant, and submit it to the adjudgement member in writing, with a security deposit of NT $ 2000. The appeal is based on the judgment of the adjudgement committee, and if the appeal is judged unjustified by the adjudgement committee, the deposit may be confiscated. All appeals shall be submitted to the competition department in writing within 30 minutes of the official announcement of the competition results.

(二)比賽進行中，各運動員不得干擾或質疑裁判人員任務之執行。

(2) During the competition, each competitor shall not interfere or question the performance of the referee's tasks.
